A world Greeting

Posted by Miss W. on August 15, 2010

I was reading Miss Nichol’s blog and found this excellent geo greeting site where she sent a message to her students. Check out our blog name using this website.

I wonder if you can find every letter of the alphabet on a Google map?  Are there any letters within Australia, as most of those on the site are from USA or Europe?

Leave a comment telling me where in Australia you found certain letters.

Thanks for the tip about the site on Miss Nichol’s blog. I love it!

    Here is one I made:

School starts for me on September 1, so we’ll be joining the challenge again. Will there be a place for classes to join or are you just doing single blogs? Perhaps I missed something! :-)

    Thanks, Miss W!

    Your friend,
    Mrs. Yollis

Hello – I am visiting your blog for the first time through a link on the Blogging Challenge Blog. You have a wonderful site here! I will be visiting you again soon. (Oh, and yes, the geography message site is very cool!)

      G’day Tatiana,
Thanks for visiting my class blog. I am the same person who is running the blogging challenge so you will probably see my avatar around quite often. I hope you and your students enjoy the blogging challenge.

Hi Miss W, my grade also found the geo greeting site from your blog as part of the student challenge. We made our own greeting – see it at http://www.geogreeting.com/view.html?yqyUDyUO8PUCUlvyqUkDUqvylkvUDokmroB#t

We are now going to see if other students can make their own messages and link them in a post.

Happy Blogging, Sam and the kids from 4/5S
