Computers are like people…they can get sick with viruses, malware, spyware, adware.
Malware is one of the reasons Tasmania’s Education Department blocks certain websites so we can’t use them.
What is malware? How does it get into our computer and what can we do to stop it?
The powerpoint below was created by Tami Brass for her students. It gives a basic explanation of what malware is, how our computers can be affected by it, and how to avoid it.
After looking at the powerpoint presentation and discussing it with your class, write a post telling your readers what malware is and the sorts of things you need to do to prevent it attacking your computer.

Ellawya11, do you mean Mr Davo Devil’s blog? I am not sure about the chat room on that blog. Does it have one? It might be a good idea to ask your question on that blog, then you could write a post and let us all know where to find it!
